After considering digital SLR photography for a long time, in April 2015 I finally decided to get myself a Nikon D5300 with a 18-105mm lens, a tripod, Chelsea & Tony’s Stunning Digital Photography book and a bag to carry it all in.
I found one on Ebay’s Small Ads. The guy that I bought it from, Kosta, is a keen photographer and a really nice chap. He came to my work place and took the time to show me how to get started with the camera.
A few days later I ended up in hospital after making a mess of my right leg, which meant that I had plenty of time to read. The book is great for getting started, and if you’re interested in getting into photography, I can highly recommend it.
A few weeks later Kosta sold me his Adobe Lightroom, version 5. And now, like most DSLR photographers, I don’t think I’ll ever take pictures in JPG format again. Lightroom is brilliant.
Photography is a great hobby that can turn a walk in the park into a completely different experience :O)
I really enjoy taking pictures, developing and sharing them. It would give me pleasure if you enjoy them.
Yours truly, Chris.
